One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Popsicle found a gap and took the lead. Leaving Sydney followed before Sowing Moon. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Popsicle started to galop and lost 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Copperflys Diva, Sleepy Lady, Cute But Dangerous, Leaving Sydney, Popsicle, Sowing Moon, Elegant Beauty, Bohemians.

Cute But Dangerous took the lead after 1000m. Sowing Moon didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Cute But Dangerous followed by Sowing Moon and Leaving Sydney. Lane two Copperflys Diva followed by Bohemians and Popsicle.

Pretty Top galloped way to long and was disqualified. With only a little left of the race Pretty Top galoped for 50 m. Cute But Dangerous sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

No-one could catch Cute But Dangerous today who won before Sowing Moon and Bohemians.
