The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Canadian Bacon could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m.




Canadian Bacon was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Always Sunny was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Canadian Bacon followed by My Sunshine and Moulin Marron. Lane two Sawgrass Kid followed by Stunning Sky and Always Sunny.



With only a little left of the race Always Sunny galoped for 20 m. Canadian Bacon sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Always Sunny was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Final standings. 1 Sawgrass Kid, 2 Canadian Bacon, 3 My Sunshine.
