One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Pleasent Time found a gap and took the lead. Two Snake Eyes followed before Why Not Me. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 30 m. Steel Scout suddenly started to galop. Jim Frick had to struggle to get Steel Scout to tror again and succeded after 30 m. General Maraudeur galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Mad Garden quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Mad Garden was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mad Garden followed by Why Not Me and General Missile. Lane two Pleasent Time followed by Two Snake Eyes and Clever Devil.

With only a little left of the race General Maraudeur galoped for 20 m. General Maraudeur was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Mad Garden sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jan-Olov Persson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Clever Devil started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Pleasent Time never caught up with Mad Garden who won. Two Snake Eyes came third.
