It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Magic Melody took the lead after a very quick start. Moon Mystery galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Magic Melody was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

Magic Melody clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Black Beautiful was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

With only a little left of the race Moon Mystery galoped for 40 m. Magic Melody clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Johan Untersteiner tried a little too much on the homestretch and Moon Mystery started to galopp and lost 50 m. Moon Mystery galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Winner of todays race was Magic Melody. For My Honey came in second. Total Dynamite became third.
