One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wondering Necklace could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 50 m.




Wondering Necklace was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Wondering Necklace clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Wondering Necklace followed by Gallant Carabian and Stretching Lemonade. Lane two Michelangelo followed by Two Of Diamonds and Lying Fall.



Stretching Lemonade galloped way to long and was disqualified. Wondering Necklace looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Gallant Carabian won. Michelangelo came in second. Wondering Necklace caught third place.
