Golfe Du Lion quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Asphalt looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that All Black couldn't come out from behind the leader, Golfe Du Lion.

Asphalt saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 50 m. King Of Backen started to gallop after 1500m and Gunnar Austevoll had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Asphalt kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
