The sun was shining on Oviken today. A perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Soient Mieux Bon could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Herr Dynamit sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m. A bird flew just in front of
Solomon Stone who started to galop and lost 50 m.
Herr Dynamit clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Herr Dynamit today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 10 m.
Soient Mieux Bon started to gallop after 1500m and Peter Eriksson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Herr Dynamit were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
Ambassadeur Du Dijon galop.
Ambassadeur Du Dijon lost 50 m.
Winner of todays race was
Herr Dynamit.
Shanti Dance came in second.
Tropical
Amazon became third.
