The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Axevalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Quality Sunset. Simplement ended up behind the leader. Soft Sign got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Soft Sign was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Unknown suddenly started to galop. Veijo Heiskanen had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 10 m. Per Johansson wanted a little to much in the start and Includes All Kinds galoped for 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Soft Sign sprinted to the front.

Invisible Sound sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Quality Sunset sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Simplement galopped for 40 m on the homestretch. Simplement galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.

Northern Sunshine won the race after a spectacular finish.
