The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Objection Overruled. Kentucky Diplomat ended up behind the leader. Top Issue got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Kentucky Diplomat quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Top Issue looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that King Empire couldn't come out from behind the leader, Kentucky Diplomat.

Top Issue looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Objection Overruled gallopped for 20 m.

Objection Overruled was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Top Issue kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Top Issue didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
