The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Break The Silence could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 30 m. driver couldn't keep Knocking Thistle to trotting so they were disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Golden Elite accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Golden Elite didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Golden Elite were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Knocking Thistle galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. Knocking Thistle showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Knocking Thistle galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Scarlet Eyes sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
