One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

She Smiles Again sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Trouver Trophée started to galop and lost 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Trouver Trophée, She Smiles Again, Quality Mark, Mr Starman, Let Me Go, , , .

She Smiles Again looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Mr Starman couldn't come out from behind the leader, Trouver Trophée. Quality Mark galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Trouver Trophée was still in the lead after 1500m.

Quality Mark was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Trouver Trophée kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

She Smiles Again sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
