One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Balls of Steel took the lead after a very quick start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. When the startcar left the field Vicious Vampire started to galop and lost 10 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Vicious Vampire sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Vicious Vampire today. It continued in the lead.

Beautiful Angel was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Vicious Vampire kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Turbo Speed sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
