It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Aerostar found a gap and took the lead. The Golden Boy followed before Breaking Starshine. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Moving Runner saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Truckdriver Melvin suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Focused Moment galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Little Stardust never caught up with Moving Runner who won. The Golden Boy came third.
