One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Comfortable Stone found a gap and took the lead. Well Done Cover followed before General Angel.




Dreaming Boulder quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Well Done Cover looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 40 m. Opposing Wave started to gallop after 1500m and Åke Lindblom had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Opposing Wave was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Opposing Wave galloped way to long and was disqualified. Comfortable Stone litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Opposing Wave galop. Opposing Wave lost 30 m.




Comfortable Stone kept the speed the whole finish and won before Well Done Cover and Dreaming Boulder.
