The weather had been good all week and Gävle was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Hot Trot Thing. Derby Star ended up behind the leader. Champagne got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Derby Star, Hot Trot Thing, Champagne, Ont De Paradis, Singing Brightness, Orgueil De Vous, Cappuccino, Fighting Cat.




Hot Trot Thing sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Hot Trot Thing was still in the lead after 1500m. Cappuccino started to gallop after 1500m and Sören Eriksson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



With only a little left of the race Ont De Paradis galoped for 30 m. Hot Trot Thing kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Ont De Paradis galop. Ont De Paradis lost 50 m.




Final standings. 1 Singing Brightness, 2 Hot Trot Thing, 3 Derby Star.
