It had been raining for several days at Romme but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Front Pressure took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Wondering Sunshine started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sleeping News sprinted to the front. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Sleeping News was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sleeping News today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Perfect Lady gallopped for 40 m.

Perfect Lady was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Fawltys Homerun was first on the homestretch followed by Aiga Bakaou and Belmont Cragin Trotter.

Aiga Bakaou never caught up with Fawltys Homerun who won. Happy Blueboy came third.
