It had been raining for several days at Kalmar but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Speed Into Fire could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Thomas Uhrberg wanted a little to much in the start and Fair Thought galoped for 40 m.




Meadow Rocket quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Naar De Zee sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. driver couldn't keep Fast Momentum to trotting so they were disqualified.




Fortræffelig accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Naar De Zee litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Speed Into Fire won the race after a spectacular finish.
