It had been raining for several days at Gävle but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

To Be Proud could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Light Tiger was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Trophy Maker, To Be Proud, Starstruck Starshine, Logical Value, Light Tiger, Funky Box, Strong Movement, Punching Strategy. A bird flew just in front of Shooting Legend who started to galop and lost 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Segezja who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Starstruck Starshine took the lead after 1000m. To Be Proud didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Starstruck Starshine today. It continued in the lead. Funky Box galloped for 50 m.

Logical Value litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

To Be Proud won. Starstruck Starshine came in second. Logical Value caught third place.
