The weather had been good all week and Umåker was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Fleece Power found a gap and took the lead.
Fast And Furious followed before
Purple Haze.
Famous
Rocket saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.
Purple Haze took the lead after 1000m.
Fleece Power didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Purple Haze today. It continued in the lead.
Purple Haze were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Fast And Furious started to galopp and lost 50 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
Fast And Furious galop.
Fast And Furious lost 10 m.
Purple Haze didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
