One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sombrero Zon took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Global Kid started to galop and lost 20 m. Åke Svanstedt wanted a little to much in the start and Going Crown galoped for 40 m.

Sombrero Zon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sombrero Zon followed by Global Kid and Shesellseashells. Lane two Flickering Wish followed by Going Crown and .




Flickering Wish put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Flickering Wish kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Going Crown never caught up with Flickering Wish who won. Shesellseashells came third.
