One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Insane Sunshine found a gap and took the lead. Sputnik Stanley followed before Hard Player.

Grasping Pony quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.

Québec Thunder looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sputnik Stanley couldn't come out from behind the leader, Grasping Pony. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m. Jailbreaker galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Fighting Action looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 50 m.

Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 30 m. Fighting Action kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Micado galop. Micado lost 20 m.

Insane Sunshine won. Sputnik Stanley came in second. Fighting Action caught third place.
