One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Front Figure could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




Walking In Memphis saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Sowing Sun took the lead after 1000m. Walking In Memphis didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Walking In Memphis accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Sowing Sun galoped for 50 m. Walking In Memphis kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Encore sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
