One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Setoguchi found a gap and took the lead. George Bush Jr followed before Treton Sand. When the startcar left the field Sowing Moon started to galop and lost 20 m.

George Bush Jr took the lead after 1000m. Treton Sand didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

George Bush Jr kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Fearless Samurai galoped for 50 m. George Bush Jr sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Treton Sand made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Setoguchi.
