Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Riihimäki track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Giant Pride. Polished Power ended up behind the leader. Big Man got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. When the startcar left the field Tricky Lilac started to galop and lost 20 m. Eloi galloped way to long and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Royal Magesty took the lead after 1000m. Giant Pride didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Royal Magesty followed by Pas De Promettre and Big Man. Lane two Love Machine followed by Giant Pride and Close Arraow. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Big Man galloped for 20 m.



Pas De Promettre speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Pas De Promettre. Giant Pride came in second. Love Machine became third.
