Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Oviken track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lover Boy followed before
Bonne Chance. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m. Intelligent
Cube galloped way to long and was disqualified.
Marshal Seabrook was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Lover Boy looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Bonne Chance couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Rascasse. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 0 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Rascasse today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 10 m.
Rascasse kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Cube was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race

Cube galoped for 30 m.
Rascasse looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Lover Boy today who won before
