Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Vaggeryd track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Growing Purgatory. Trépigner ended up behind the leader. Rare Return got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Serpentine quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Serpentine clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.



With only a little left of the race Growing Purgatory galoped for 40 m. Serpentine clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.






Growing Purgatory made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Serpentine.
