Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Dannero track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Sound sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Iloinen, Light Sound, Fair Sunflower, Coughing Girl, Pride Of You, Blazing Arrow, Roll Over Beethoven, Ei Koskaan Kerrakseen. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Light Sound took the lead rather easily.




Light Sound was still in the lead after 1500m.




Light Sound kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Unknown gallopped 10 m after 2000m.



Light Sound sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Ei Koskaan Kerrakseen to trotting so they were disqualified.




Light Sound didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
