One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Cityman. Quick Beard ended up behind the leader. Laissez-faire got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Quick Beard started to galop and lost 50 m.

Punching Devil quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Eloi looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Quick Beard couldn't come out from behind the leader, Punching Devil.

Grande Fierté was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Eloi looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Quick Beard couldn't come out from behind the leader, Punching Devil.

Laissez-faire made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Punching Devil.
