One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shooting Platinum found a gap and took the lead. Hector followed before Boogie Boy. Glorious Girl was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Hector started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Shooting Platinum was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Shooting Platinum followed by Boogie Boy and Great Big Boy. Lane two Portable Stereo followed by Enlightened and Hector.



Shooting Platinum sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Portable Stereo sprinted over the finishline before Shooting Platinum and Boogie Boy.
