One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Global Warning took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Crossing Jewel started to galop and lost 30 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

With only a little left of the race Crossing Jewel galoped for 20 m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Johnny Takter tried a little too much on the homestretch and Solid Ground started to galopp and lost 40 m. Crossing Jewel was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

No-one could catch Global Warning today who won before Bad Dream and Comfortable Bomb.
