One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Getting Fast found a gap and took the lead. Glory Step followed before Indigo Eyes. When the startcar left the field Twist And Shout started to galop and lost 30 m. When the startcar left the field Cherry Curse started to galop and lost 30 m.

Glory Step quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Indigo Eyes took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Indigo Eyes followed by Cherry Curse and Cardigan Bay. Lane two Getting Fast followed by Glory Step and Minutes Left. Twist And Shout galloped for 40 m.

Indigo Eyes sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Twist And Shout to trotting so they were disqualified.

Indigo Eyes didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
