One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Louder Than Thunder sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Maaginen started to galop and lost 40 m.




Smelly Feet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Maaginen was disturbed and galoped 30 m.
