One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Masculine Mascot found a gap and took the lead. Pacific Princess followed before Tasteful Way. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Pacific Princess took the lead after 1000m. Roll Over Beethoven didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Roll Over Beethoven galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Pacific Princess was still in the lead after 1500m.




Roll Over Beethoven took the lead.



Traffic Hazard was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Roll Over Beethoven looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Roll Over Beethoven kept the speed the whole finish and won before Pacific Princess and Tasteful Way.
