Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Without A Cause could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Without A Cause suddenly started to galop. Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get Without A Cause to tror again and succeded after 50 m. When the startcar left the field Passion Of Pearls started to galop and lost 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Let Love In, Diamond Electric, Supernova, Flying Detroit, Respectable, Lance, Voulé Voux, Moonlight Brightness. Without A Cause started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Let Love In today. It continued in the lead. Without A Cause galloped for 30 m.

Flying Detroit took the lead.

Flying Detroit sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jorma Kontio tried a little too much on the homestretch and Stretching Diary started to galopp and lost 20 m. Diamond Electric galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Without A Cause made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Let Love In.
