One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Contour. Light Piece ended up behind the leader. Bombardier got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 50 m. Sans Facon was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Bombardier sprinted to the front.




Contour sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.



Toronto Maple Leafe sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Falling Piece was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.




Toronto Maple Leafe didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
