The weather had been good all week and Gävle was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Darling took the lead after a very quick start. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Mikael Lindmark wanted a little to much in the start and Ableitung Sängerin galoped for 20 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Mr Chaos looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Perfect Prince couldn't come out from behind the leader, Its All Facts. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Its All Facts followed by Mr Chaos and In A Box. Lane two Darling followed by Perfect Prince and King Of Thunder. Cool Vibe started to gallop after 1500m and Leif Witasp had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Cool Vibe galoped for 30 m. Its All Facts kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Perfect Prince never caught up with Darling who won. Its All Facts came third.
