One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pallas Athena could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Temple Bar was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Butch Radio Cut sprinted to the front.




Passion De Perle looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Yellow Jacket couldn't come out from behind the leader, Butch Radio Cut. Steel Frenzy showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Butch Radio Cut today. It continued in the lead.



Passion De Perle suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Pallas Athena was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Winner of todays race was Passion De Perle. Yellow Jacket came in second. Butch Radio Cut became third.
