Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Härmä track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Winter sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.

Winter to trotting so they were disqualified.
Nouveau Triomphe was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Darth Maul made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before
