Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Leangen track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Par Bonheur took the lead after a very quick start. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Fair Twister, Par Bonheur, Starstruck Thought, Ivory Tower, Golem, Peur Du Noir, Shriekback, Black Nick Nobelium. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. Feeling Guilty started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Ivory Tower sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Golem suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Ivory Tower was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 30 m. Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Ivory Tower kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Black Nick Nobelium was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Par Bonheur never caught up with Ivory Tower who won. Starstruck Thought came third.
