One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gimlet took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Allé En Enfer, Comfortable Paradigm, Ecco Dynamit, Whispering Moonlight, Gimlet, Low Flight, Singing News, Brave Tank.

Gimlet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Whispering Moonlight couldn't come out from behind the leader, Allé En Enfer.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Allé En Enfer followed by Whispering Moonlight and Burnie. Lane two Ecco Dynamit followed by Singing News and Comfortable Paradigm.

Ecco Dynamit put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Gimlet took the lead after a speedrush. Burnie showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Gimlet sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Singing News sprinted over the finishline before Ecco Dynamit and Gimlet.
