The weather had been good all week and Kaukonen was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Fist sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

Québec Thunder, , , , . A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m.
Calming
Puma was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.
Love Apple accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.
Love Apple kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.
Québec Thunder galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Love Apple sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
Québec Thunder galop.
Québec Thunder lost 30 m.
Québec Thunder was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Québec Thunder started to galopp and lost 0 m.
