One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Arjuna found a gap and took the lead. Waving Red followed before Twentieth Century Express.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Waving Red sprinted to the front.




Twentieth Century Express sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Waving Red suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.



With only a little left of the race Waving Red galoped for 20 m. Waving Red sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Twentieth Century Express galop. Twentieth Century Express lost 10 m. Twentieth Century Express was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Waving Red was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Arjuna won. Twentieth Century Express came in second. Waving Red caught third place.
