One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gentleman Power took the lead after a very quick start. Climbing Work was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Johnny Takter wanted a little to much in the start and Gentleman Power galoped for 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Super Bananaphone sprinted to the front. Gentleman Power started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Mirage De Victoire started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Shichinin No Nana looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Domino couldn't come out from behind the leader, Super Bananaphone.



Night Crawler was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Domino looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gentleman Power couldn't come out from behind the leader, Shichinin No Nana.






Gentleman Power sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
