Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Lapua track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wondering Garden took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Oiseau De Corion, Stargate Universe, Gorgeous Trap, Flickering Wish, Better Escape, Front Arraow, Flower Wave, Turbo Fritz. Aftenlys started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Front Arraow took the lead after 1000m. Better Escape didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. driver couldn't keep Oiseau De Corion to trotting so they were disqualified. Gorgeous Trap suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Front Arraow followed by Better Escape and Church Bell. Lane two Wondering Garden followed by Turbo Fritz and Gorgeous Trap. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Turbo Fritz took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Oiseau De Corion galoped for 30 m. Wondering Garden suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Oiseau De Corion was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Oiseau De Corion started to galopp and lost 40 m. Oiseau De Corion galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Better Escape won. Turbo Fritz came in second. Wondering Garden caught third place.
