One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Europa Kjemperen. Steel Classic ended up behind the leader. Grasping Tropic got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Shooting Moon suddenly started to galop. Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get Shooting Moon to tror again and succeded after 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Shooting Moon, Europa Kjemperen, Grasping Tropic, Steel Classic, Glem Meg Fortid, Confident Striker, Radiating Sunflower, Yndig Sejr.

Shooting Moon was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Grasping Tropic accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Grasping Tropic looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Shooting Moon galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.

No-one could catch Grasping Tropic today who won before Europa Kjemperen and Steel Classic.
