One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Unknown found a gap and took the lead. Bad Lady followed before One Step Ahead.

Bad Lady quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Unknown looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that One Step Ahead couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bad Lady.

One Step Ahead looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

One Step Ahead kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

One Step Ahead didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
