Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Klosterskogen track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Relaxing Sword could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Church Bell suddenly started to galop. Thor Borg had to struggle to get Church Bell to tror again and succeded after 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Perfect Prince, Loving Pearl, Golden Pearl, Highspeed Controller, Church Bell, Relaxing Sword, Waving Red, Intergalatic. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Highspeed Controller was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Perfect Prince was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Waving Red looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Waving Red kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Fagerviks La Maseillaise galoped way to long and was disqualified. Stein Egil Nervik tried a little too much on the homestretch and Fagerviks La Maseillaise started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Relaxing Sword won the race after a spectacular finish.
