One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Blinding Light. Crawford ended up behind the leader. Self Contained got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m.




Self Contained saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Blinding Light took the lead after 1000m. Self Contained didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Blinding Light followed by William Hawk and Sowing Breeze. Lane two Self Contained followed by Crawford and Dead Band. Sweet Challange galloped for 30 m.




Blinding Light was still in the lead after 2000m.



Self Contained was first on the homestretch followed by Blinding Light and William Hawk.

Sweet Challange galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sweet Challange galop. Sweet Challange lost 30 m.




Blinding Light won the race after a spectacular finish.
