The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Holy Moonlight sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m.

Stunning Daffodil quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.

Brighter Than Heaven sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Brighter Than Heaven followed by Holy Moonlight and Stunning Daffodil. Lane two Postcard From Calgary followed by Cute But Dangerous and Redser Sun. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Golfe Du Lion gallopped for 30 m.

Holy Moonlight took the lead. Unknown gallopped 30 m after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Bergens Engel galoped for 40 m. Holy Moonlight kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Brighter Than Heaven galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.

Postcard From Calgary never caught up with Holy Moonlight who won. Cute But Dangerous came third.
