The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Ran-tan-plan. Idas Celebration ended up behind the leader. Muukalainen got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Meadow Beech sprinted to the front.




Muukalainen took the lead after 1000m. Idas Celebration didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Idas Celebration saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Just For You started to gallop after 1500m and Anders Christiansson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Idas Celebration was still in the lead after 2000m.



Just For You was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. With only a little left of the race Just For You galoped for 30 m. Idas Celebration looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Muukalainen won. Idas Celebration came in second. Ran-tan-plan caught third place.
